Boaz Shilmover, HBA, BA – CEO
As CEO, Boaz is responsible for operations, finance and marketing. His background includes 12 years in the construction and oil and gas industries in ownership, senior management and finance roles. As an owner of a leading building envelope contractor, he has managed a high growth venture, having been articled in PROFIT Magazine as CEO of one of Canada's fastest growing companies on 4 separate occasions, and Alberta Venture Magazine’s Fast 50 featuring the fastest growing companies in Alberta. Boaz is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Canada and holds a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.David Shilmover, B.Sc. As President, David oversees fabrication operations, construction management and sales efforts. His experiences include over 40-years in the construction industry holding various positions, recently as the President and Founder of a leading building envelope contractor. David has been listed in PROFIT Magazine leading one of Canada's fastest growing companies on 4 separate occasions, and Alberta Venture Magazine’s Fast 50 featuring the fastest growing companies in Alberta. He has held positions as construction manager and senior project manager, with various general contractors in both civil infrastructure and commercial high-rise projects; spanning Canada, Africa and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.Brett Cross, C.E.T. – Division Manager, Commercial
As division manager Brett is responsible for overall safety, quality, and production in ARTE’s flat roofing, waterproofing, and cladding operations. His background includes over 2 decades in various aspects of the construction industry including engineering, design, and project management. Prior to joining ARTE Roofing, he was employed as Director of Commercial Projects for a leading Calgary engineered wood products manufacturer with operations across North America. Brett is an honours graduate from the North Alberta Institute of Technology’s Construction Management program and a long time member of the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professional’s of Alberta.
Neil Barnes – Division Manager, Residential
As division manager Neil is responsible for overall safety, quality, and production in ARTE’s sloped roofing and siding division. His background includes over 12 years of roofing experience in various roles including estimating, project management and company directorship. Prior to joining ARTE Roofing, he was employed as Director of a Roofing Contracting company in Cambridge, England which specialized in custom designed residential, commercial and heritage projects which included work on Cambridge University buildings. Neil came to Canada 3 years ago where he has been with Arte Roofing ever since.
Ian Forbes, CMA - Corporate Controller
Ian holds the position of Corporate Controller, and is involved in both administration and financial operations overseeing cash flows, budgets, expenditures and investments. As a Certified Managerial Accountant, he has over eight years of direct involvement in the construction and oil and gas services industries. Focusing on financial analysis and operational systems he provides management structure and guidance on processes related to the organization.
